Meet the Staff

Administrator
Charlene Hill-Jeon
Charlene Hill-Jeon joined Alden Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care
Center as Administrator in March 2009. Her career in long-term care began as
an Assistant Administrator in an intermediate care facility for the mentally
ill over 25 years ago; she served on the Illinois Department of Mental
Health Advisory Board for many years. In her current role, Charlene is
responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, meeting residents' needs
and educating and motivating the staff. Charlene has a bachelor's degree in
Psychology and Industrial Psychology from DePaul University and a master’s
degree in Counseling Psychology from the Adler Institute of Psychology. She
has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1989.
Director of Nursing
Talia Thompson, RN
Talia Thompson, RN, joined Alden Wentworth as Assistant Director of Nursing in February 2007 and was promoted to Director of Nursing in July 2008. She previously served as a PRN floor nurse at various Alden facilities as well as worked in the ICU/critical care setting for a hospital. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Chicago State University in Chicago. Talia is also ACLS certified.
Admission Director
Regina Long
Since October 1999, Regina Long has served as Admission Director at Alden Wentworth. She came to the rehabilitation and health care center in March 1984 as a Certified Nurse Aide, Psycho-Social Director and was promoted to Social Services Director before assuming her current position. She is well-known and well-respected in Chicago’s Englewood community where Alden Wentworth is located.
